At Reno Mediation Group, we focus on navigating structured disputes to find practical, binding resolutions. We work closely with clients to resolve conflicts efficiently outside of the courtroom.
Below is an overview of the specific areas where we can help you find a path forward, as well as the areas that fall outside of our practice scope.
Operational and financial disagreements can paralyze a business. We help partners, shareholders, and vendors look at the practical risks of their positions and negotiate pragmatic settlements that protect their bottom lines and operations.
Partnership dissolution and breakups
Breach of contract and vendor disputes
Non-compete and independent contractor disagreements
Property disputes are often complex and highly technical. We provide an analytical, objective sounding board to help parties evaluate their legal and financial realities without the massive expense of trial.
Commercial lease and landlord-tenant disputes
Boundary, easement, and HOA disagreements
Co-owner property division and real estate contract defaults
With multiple moving parts, tight margins, and strict deadlines, commercial and residential projects are highly prone to costly friction. When a development stalls, it impacts owners, contractors, and financial backers simultaneously. We provide an analytical, reality-based environment to untangle complex project data, evaluate contract performance, and find pragmatic pathways forward to keep projects moving.
Contractor & Vendor Friction: Resolving payment disputes, change-order disagreements, and material supply chain disruptions.
Performance & Delay Issues: Addressing project delays, scheduling conflicts, and scope-of-work deviations before they escalate to costly litigation.
Joint Venture & Investor Misalignments: Navigating internal friction between developers, equity partners, and land owners regarding capital calls, timelines, or project direction.
Navigating a divorce requires a calm, confidential, and structured environment. We help couples bypass the adversarial court system to build a customized, respectful blueprint for their financial future.
Division of marital assets, debts, and property
Spousal support (alimony) structures
Business valuation and division strategies for entrepreneurial couples
Not every dispute fits neatly into a "corporate" or "real estate" box, but they still involve legally binding agreements that have broken down. We provide a structured environment to resolve everyday civil contract friction before it escalates into full-blown litigation.
Insurance claim or coverage disagreements (property damage, business interruption)
Professional services contract defaults (agreements with consultants, agencies, or contractors)
Promissory notes, private loans, and personal property disputes
To maintain the highest level of professional focus and compliance with specific legal frameworks, Reno Mediation Group strictly limits its practice to financial, property, and commercial disputes. We do not provide mediation services for the following:
Child Custody, Visitation, & Support: We do not mediate parenting plans, custody schedules, or child support allocations. If your divorce involves minor children, those specific elements must be handled through specialized family law mediators, co-parenting counselors, or court-appointed programs. However, we can help you with the other elements of your divorce.
Court-Mandated Domestic Programs: We do not facilitate court-ordered anger management, domestic violence diversion, or other state-mandated behavioral rehabilitation programs.
Criminal Matters: Our practice is strictly limited to civil, financial, commercial, and marital property disputes.
If your dispute falls within our service areas, we are ready to help you lower the temperature and find a definitive resolution. Contact us today to schedule a confidential initial intake.
